WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Tacoma scored six runs in the final two innings to overcome a three-run deficit and top Sacramento, 9-7, at Raley Field on Wednesday afternoon. Mike Carp's three-run home run in the eighth inning gave Tacoma a 7-6 lead and the Rainiers added two runs in the ninth on former River Cat Jack Hannahan's two-run home run. Sacramento first baseman Chris Carter hit his 13th home run of the season, a solo shot, as part of a five-run River Cats third inning. Sacramento threatened in the ninth inning, scoring one run and getting runners on first and second with Matt Watson at-bat representing the game-winning run. Watson popped out to second base to end the game. River Cats lead-off batter Corey Wimberly scored a run and collected two hits to extend his consecutive on-base streak to 30 games.
