Late Rally Pushes Memphis Past Indianapolis

MEMPHIS, TN - The Memphis Redbirds continued a six-game road trip against the Indianapolis Indians on Saturday night with a 8-7 win at Victory Field.

With two outs in the top of the ninth inning and Memphis down a run, third baseman Kramer Robertson roped a single to tie the game. One batter later, catcher Nick Raposo laced another single to score two and put the Redbirds up by a pair.

Center fielder Josh Palacios, second baseman Masyn Winn and shortstop Juniel Querecuto each recorded a three-hit night. Each Memphis starter reached base at least once in Saturday night's win.

Starting pitcher Tommy Parsons tossed 6.0 innings, allowed six runs on six hits, walked three, struck out one and allowed a pair of home runs. James Naile (5-1) tossed two scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.

The Redbirds (42-44) return to AutoZone Park on Friday, July 14 to continue a six-game homestand at 7:05p.m. CDT against the Nashville Sounds.
