The Waterloo Bucks (16-47, 6-22) fell 8-6 to the La Crosse Loggers (36-27, 19-9) despite outscoring their opponent 5-0 in the final three innings.
Trey Leonard (2-5, 2 R) and Kyle Smith (2-5, R, RBI, SB) had the Bucks' multi-hit games.
Danny Kapala (3.0 ip, 1 H, 2 BB, 2 K) and Caleb Miley (2.0 ip, 2 H) combined for 5.0 scoreless frames to finish off the ball game.
Waterloo and La Crosse wrap up their series on Friday night at 6:35 p.m.
