Burlington Bees News Release

The final away game of the 2013 season has been cancelled due to rain. The Burlington Bees and Beloit Snappers will not make up the game.

The rain started at around 5:00 p.m. and it was off and on for the next two hours and 15 minutes, causing the cancellation of the final game of a three-game series between the Burlington Bees (53-78, 27-39) and the Beloit Snappers (76-60, 33-33).

Burlington now heads home for the final homestand of the season against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. The series will feature fantastic promotions, including Fan Appreciation Day on Monday afternoon. All general admission tickets will be FREE! It will also be a Dollar Monday, so come enjoy hot dogs, pizza, popcorn and cans of Pepsi products for just $1.

Saturday will be NFL night and Sunday will be Major League Baseball Day. Come wearing your favorite NFL team's shirt or jersey on Saturday and MLB's team's shirt or jersey on Saturday and get $2 off Adult GA tickets or $1 off Youth/Senior GA tickets.

Ryan Crowley will take the hill against Tyler Wagner at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night at Community Field.
