Kearney, Ne. - The Tri-City Storm allowed two third-period goals, springing to the Omaha Lancers to a 3-1 victory Saturday at the Viaero Center.

For the second straight game, the ice was painted with individual messages written by fans to help remember those that have fought cancer. More than 500 fans painted the ice with rainbow colors Thursday night for Color Out Cancer.

Brian Williams broke a 1-1 tie at the 9:16 mark of the third with his first tally of the season, assisted by Michael Joyaux and Jacob Bryson. Nathan Krusko potted an empty-net goal with 0.5 seconds left to cap a three-goal run for Omaha.

The Storm ran into hot goalies for the second time in 24 hours. Lancers netminder Kris Oldham made 31 saves on 32 Tri-City shots. Friday, Peyton Jones shut out the Storm in a 2-0 Lincoln victory.

Tri-City's Jake Kielly kept the Storm in the game with 20 saves, yielding two goals.

The Storm's hottest scoring line struck first in the game. Dan Labosky notched his second of the season at the 6:16 mark of the second, deflecting a left-circle shot from Carson Meyer. Both Meyer and Alex Limoges earned assists.

Labosky, Meyer, or Limoges, has earned a point on eight of Tri-City's 17 goals this season.

Tri-City's power play failed to score on four chances, but held Omaha off the board on the man up three times.

The Storm are a league-best 17-for-17 at home on the penalty kill.

Lancers forward Mitch Perrault tied the game at even strength with 1:55 in the second, assisted by Jacob Bryson.
