Mark Abalan Named Head Coach

May 31, 2024 - KEARNEY, NE. - Tri-City Storm is proud to announce the hiring of Mark Abalan as the ninth Head Coach in franchise history. Abalan brings more than twenty years of coaching experience and success to the organization. He joins the Storm after spending the last three seasons with the Northstar Christian Academy Knights 16U AAA organization in Alexandria, Minnesota. Lukashevich Named to All-USHL Second Team

May 8, 2024 - KEARNEY, NE. - Tri-City Storm defenseman Vladislav Lukashevich has been named to the All-USHL Second Team following the 2023-2024 regular season. Lukashevich led all Storm defensemen this season in goals (11), assists (32), points (43), points per game (0.80), powerplay goals (3), powerplay assists (14), plus/minus (+13), and shots (78). Connelly Named to All-USHL Second Team

May 8, 2024 - KEARNEY, NE. - Tri-City Storm forward Trevor Connelly has been named to the All-USHL Second Team following the 2023-2024 regular season. Connelly led the Storm in goals (31), assists (47), points (78), Points Per Game (1.50), Powerplay Goals (10), Powerplay Assists (17), and shots (240). He was the only player to play a full season in the league this year to average 1.50 points per game, and his 240 shots on net were the most recorded by any USHL player this season. May 8, 2024 - KEARNEY, NE. - Tri-City defenseman Alexander Bales has been named to the USHL's All-Rookie Second Team following the 2023-2024 regular season. Bales skated in thirty-four games this season for Tri-City, but suffered a season-ending injury in January. He was the only Storm representative on this year's All-Rookie Second Team.
