Storm Forward Khristian Acosta Announces Commitment to Mercyhurst

May 31, 2019 - Kearney, NE. - Tri-City Storm forward Khristian Acosta has announced a commitment to play college hockey at Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA for the 2019-2020 season. With the announcement, every player on Tri-City's 2018-2019 Anderson Cup Championship team has previously announced a college commitment. Acosta scored seven goals and registered seventeen assists for the Storm during the 2018-2019 regular season. Tri-City Completes Phase II of 2019 USHL Draft

May 7, 2019 - Kearney, NE. - The United States Hockey League (USHL) held Phase II of its 2019 Draft on Tuesday. The Tri-City Storm selected eighteen players over the 25 rounds of the draft. Phase II of the draft is open to players of all ages eligible to play junior hockey and are not currently protected by another USHL team. May 6, 2019 - Kearney, NE. - The United States Hockey League (USHL) held Phase I of its 2019 Draft on Monday night. The Tri-City Storm selected ten players over the 10 rounds of the draft. Phase II of the 2019 USHL Draft begins Tuesday at 10:00am. The USHL Draft takes place during the first week of May each year and is completed in two "Phases".
