April 16, 2025 - WATERLOO, Iowa - The Waterloo Black Hawks used a trio of third period goals to beat the Tri-City Storm 7-4 in the second game of a best-of-three USHL Western Conference First Round series Tuesday night at Young Arena.
Waterloo swept the set after collecting a game one win on Monday. The Black Hawks advance to face No. 2 Sioux Falls in the Western Conference Semifinals.

April 15, 2025 - KEARNEY, Neb. - Tri-City Storm goaltender Michal Pradel and forwards Cooper Simpson and Nolan Roed have qualified for NHL Central Scouting's (NHLCS) final rankings.
The rankings, released Tuesday, name the top eligible prospects for this summer's 2025 NHL Entry Draft. NHLCS is a bureau of the National Hockey League.

April 15, 2025 - WATERLOO, Iowa - The No. 6 Tri-City Storm must win to keep their season alive in game two of a USHL Western Conference First Round series against the No. 3 Waterloo Black Hawks on Tuesday night at Young Arena.

September 5, 2024 - KEARNEY, NE. - The Tri-City Storm has named Dan Hoehne the team's Goaltending Coach ahead of the organization's 25th Anniversary Season.
Dan Hoehne, 41, of Duluth, Minnesota, has served as the Goaltending Coach for the Chippewa Steel (North American Hockey League, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin) since 2022. Prior to his time with the Steel, Hoehne was an Assistant Coach for Chanhassen High School in Chanhassen Minnesota from 2016 to 2021.
