Lakeland Magic Announce 2019-20 Season Schedule

The NBA G League released its 2019-20 schedule today and announced the Lakeland Magic will open their season on Friday, November 8 against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants affiliate, the Indiana Pacers in Fort Wayne, IN. Game time is 7:00 p.m. The Lakeland Magic open their season at home on Saturday, November 16 at the RP Funding Center against the College Park Skyhawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, with a 7:00 p.m. tip.

Each G League team will play a 50-game regular season: 24 home, 24 away, and 2 neutral site games at the annual G League Showcase. The Lakeland Magic will be in the Eastern Conference's Southeast Division. Lakeland will play 44 games against Eastern Conference teams including sixteen games against Southeast Division opponents, the Greensboro Swarm, Erie BayHawks, Capital City Go-Go and College Park Skyhawks.

Lakeland will play a total of 15 home games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday this season. The 2019-20 Magic schedule also features seven back-to-back contests (four home/home back-to-backs, and three away/away back-to-back).

The Magic will play 8 games in November (3 home, 5 away), 9 games in December (6 home, 3 away), 11 games in January (6 home, 5 away), 9 games in February (4 home, 5 away), and 11 games in March (5 home, 6 away.)

The longest homestand of the season will be from December 6 through December 15 and January 10 through January 20 spanning five games each. Lakeland will face a season-long six-game road trip from February 20 through March 8. Lakeland closes the regular season at the Entertainment and Sports Arena on Saturday, March 28 vs. the Capital City Go-Go at 7:00 p.m. 2019-20 schedule breakdown is included below.
