Westchester Knicks Announce 2019-20 Regular Season Schedule

WHITE PLAINS, NY - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, announced its 48-game 2019-20 regular season schedule Monday afternoon. For its sixth season, the Knicks and first-year head coach Derrick Alston, will host Raptors 905 at the Westchester County Center Saturday, November 9 at 7:00 PM ET.

The NBA G League emphasized maximizing weekend play as well as reducing acceptable back-to-back games and providing more opportunity for player rest throughout the season. The Knicks will compete in 19 weekend contests (15 on Saturday and four on Sunday) with more than half of them to take place at the County Center (11). The Knicks endure five back-to-back battles one of which occurs at home on December 27-28. The others are split or solely on the road.

Fans will not have to wait long for the Knicks' opportunity to avenge last season's postseason semifinals exit at Lakeland. The club hosts the Magic on Monday, November 11. The Windy City Bulls' chance for similar revenge comes on Friday, December 27. The Knicks knocked off the Chicago Bulls' affiliate in the postseason's first round to earn their first playoff win in franchise history.

The Knicks will host four-straight opponents (Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Maine Red Claws, Greensboro Swarm and Wisconsin Herd) spanning February 21-29, serving as the team's longest homestand.

Westchester's longest road trip happens near the season's end. The team will face Raptors 905, Capital City Go-Go, Erie Bayhawks and the reigning Eastern Conference Champions, Long Island Nets, in a seven-day span beginning March 21. The Knicks' regular season concludes against intrastate rival, Long Island, on Saturday, March 28, capping a two-week eight-game assignment.

With the slate currently standing at 48-games, this reserves a pair of games for the NBA G League Winter Showcase.
