April 12, 2019 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Los Angeles FC News Release
The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) returns home to Banc of California Stadium this weekend as the Black & Gold host expansion side FC Cincinnati on Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. PT. The Week 7 matchup will be broadcast on YouTube TV, Univision KVMD, ESPN 710 AM, and 980 AM 'La Mera Mera'.
Last weekend, LAFC earned its second consecutive road shutout, defeating D.C. United 4-0 at Audi Field with goals from forwards Diego Rossi (3) and Carlos Vela. With Rossi's hat-trick, LAFC became the seventh team in MLS history to record hat-tricks in consecutive games, and the first team to do it in back-to-back road matches.
LAFC (5-0-1) currently sits in first place in the Western Conference, earning 16 out of a possible 18 points. Following last weekend's 4-0 victory, the Club also broke the all-time record for most goals after first six matches with 19, one more than the previous record.
FC Cincinnati come into the game following a 1-1 home draw against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, April 8. The newest franchise in MLS currently sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-2-2 (8 points) record.
