
LAFC Selects Midfielder Raheem Edwards in Stage 1 of 2020 Re-Entry Process

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today it has selected the rights to midfielder Raheem Edwards in Stage 1 of the 2020 MLS Re-Entry Process.
Edwards, 25, spent the 2020 campaign with Minnesota United FC, appearing in 12 games (2 starts) and tallying three assists. In his five-year career, Edwards has played for Chicago Fire FC (2018-19), Montreal Impact (2018), and Toronto FC (2016-17). In all, he has seen action in 65 regular season contests, while adding five goals and 11 assists in 3,287 minutes.
Internationally, Edwards made his senior team debut for Canada during an international friendly against Curaçao on June 14, 2017 before being named to Canada's final 23-man roster for the 2017 Concacaf Gold Cup.
