The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) fell 3-2 to the Real Salt Lake at Banc of California Stadium on Thursday night. With the loss, the Club has been eliminated from the Audi 2018 MLS Cup Playoffs, ending its historic inaugural season.

Real Salt Lake scored first in the Knockout Round match through attacker Damir Kreilach, before LAFC defender Danilo Silva leveled the game for the Black & Gold. After halftime, forward Christian Ramirez gave the home side the lead with a left-footed strike in the 55th minute, but the lead would last just three minutes as Kreilach would beat Tyler Miller for his second of the match. RSL eventually scored the game-winner in the 69th minute after a shot was deflected into the back of the net by defender Walker Zimmerman.
