Frédéric Brillant scored his first goal for D.C. United in the 21st minute. It was his first goal in 467 days, his last coming with NYCFC on July 22, 2017.
Nick DeLeon scored the equalizer in the 116th minute of the match. DeLeon last scored on August 27, 2016, against the Chicago Fire in a 6-2 win.
Nick DeLeon's first timed volley in the 116th minute is the latest goal ever scored in the history of the club.
