LAFC & Born X Raised Release Limited Edition LAFC Championship Collection
June 22, 2023 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Los Angeles FC News Release
Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and iconic Venice-based streetwear brand Born X Raised have teamed up once again to release the limited edition Born X Raised LAFC Championship Collection on Friday, June 23.
The collection celebrating LAFC's 2022 MLS Cup Championship goes on sale Friday at 12 p.m. PT exclusively at BornXRaised.com. LAFC Season Ticket Members will receive exclusive access to a private online presale Friday.
The complete Born X Raised LAFC Championship collection will be available at the Club's team store, LAFC HQ, attached to BMO Stadium on Saturday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. This drop also marks the first time an LAFC, Born X Raised collaboration will be available to ship to international fans. Fans shopping the collection overseas must purchase through MLSStore.com.
LAFC won the Club's first MLS Championship in November 2022, and the Black & Gold join the Dodgers, Lakers and Rams as the next team to partner with Born X Raised for an iconic Championship Collection. The collection includes two t-shirts, a hoodie, two crewneck sweaters, a snapback hat, two scarves and a duffel bag.
LAFC midfielder Erik Dueñas, an MLS Cup Champion born and raised in Los Angeles, who has been a member of the LAFC Academy since 2016 and signed with LAFC as a 16-year-old in 2020, is the inspiration for the project -- representing the growth of the Club into a champion from its roots in Los Angeles.
"LAFC, like so many of our fans, staff and even players like MLS Cup Champion Erik Dueñas were born and raised on the streets of Los Angeles," said Patrick Aviles, Vice President of Brand & Community for LAFC. "We are so proud to join other champions in this great city by creating something special with Born X Raised and share Erik's story with our fans. It is truly special to be able to celebrate our championship with such a meaningful and authentic collection."
