The LumberKings relied on a balanced attack, getting another big effort from Brandon Boggs (.279 / .382 / .486 overall; ..359 / .432 / .615 in July) who went 2-4 with a double and a triple, scoring twice and Billy Susdorf (.256 / .284 / .485) homered in a 2-4 outing to drive in two. Brandon Cashman (.250 / .328 / .413) belted his sixth homer of the year in a 2-5 outing and Jim Fasano plated two in a 1-3 outing that included a walk.
Kyle Rogers (4-6; 6.49) lasted five innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and a pair of walks and former Oklahoma Sooner Mark Roberts (0.00 ERA in 10.2 innings) continued to dominate the MWL with two shutout innings of relief.
