Kroll Loaned To Grand Rapids; Dubuc Returns From Hershey

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that defenseman Johann Kroll has been loaned to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League and forward Michael Dubuc has been sent to the team from the Hershey Bears.

Kroll, 25, leaves the Stingrays with one goal and six assists in 24 games. The 2009 ECHL All-Star appeared in 28 AHL games last season with the Syracuse Crunch and Hershey Bears registering two points (2a) and 16 penalty minutes.

Dubuc, 21, returns to the Stingrays after playing in seven games for the Bears scoring three goals and two assists for five points. The Granby, PQ native has five goals and seven assists for 12 points in 18 games with the Stingrays this season. Dubuc's last game for the Stingrays before being recalled was on November 24 in the Rays' 3-2 victory at Gwinnett.

The Stingrays hit the road Wednesday, January 6 to battle the Charlotte Checkers at 7:00 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena. Listen to the game LIVE at www.stingrayshockey.com !
