
Kostopoulos leads Manchester to 5-0 win over Hershey

Manchester got the scoring going in the first period just 59 seconds in when former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin Tom Kostopoulos scored to give the Monarchs a 1-0 lead. The lead would balloon to 2-0 at the 13:59 mark of the first when Brad Smyth tapped in a rebound against Peter Budaj. In the second period, Yanick Lehoux scored his tenth goal of the season to increase the Manchester lead to 3-0. The Monarchs then rounded out the second period scoring when Chris Schmidt scored a power play goal at 18:03.
The BEARS will continue the current five game road trip Wednesday in Norfolk.
