
Komets Re-Sign Center Paul Crowder

Fort Wayne, IN - The Komets announced Monday that veteran center Paul Crowder has agreed to terms and will return to the Fort Wayne fold.
Crowder, 30, will be joining the Komets after skating 24 games this season in the French Elite league with Amiens where he ranked second with 20 assists and 30 points.
2015-16 is Crowder's seventh full season as a pro. The Victoria, British Columbia native made his pro debut in the AHL with Hartford during the 2008-09 season. In addition to Hartford, Crowder has also skating AHL stints with Manchester, Wilkes-Barre Scranton and Milwaukee.
The center made his ECHL debut in 2010-11 starting the season with Utah before joining Wheeling and posting a career high 15 points (4g, 11a) in 17 playoff games while serving as captain and leading the Nailers to the Eastern Conference Finals.
In 2013-14 Crowder led Cincinnati with 32 assists and ranked third with 16 goals and 48 points in 64 ECHL games. Crowder made his Fort Wayne debut last season scoring eight goals and 17 points in 25 games.

The Komets are on the road for four games this week starting with a 7:15pm ET faceoff at Evansville Tuesday. Friday the Komets visit Cincinnati at 7:35pm, Saturday the Komets skate at Kalamazoo at 7pm and Sunday the Komets cap the week with a 5:15pm start at Toledo.
Next at home-- The Komets host a double-header weekend when they return home next week. Friday, Feb. 19 the Toledo Walleye make their third of four visits at 8pm and Sunday, Feb. 21 the Colorado Eagles make their only appearance of the season in Fort Wayne at 5pm.
