Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen scored two goals in each period as they knocked off the Prince Albert Raiders 6-1 on Thursday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

The Raiders' lone goal of the night came late in the third period as Kolten Olynek scored in his first game since being acquired from the Spokane Chiefs on Sunday.

Jordy Stallard, Jakob Stukel, Jake Bean, Carsen Twarynski, Pavel Karnaukhov, and Tyler Mrkonjic each scored for the Hitmen. Michael Zipp, Layne Bensmiller, Radel Fazleev, and Travis Sanheim recorded two assists.

Prince Albert netminder Ian Scott got the start in his hometown but was relieved in the third period after making 21 saves on 26 shots. Rylan Parenteau turned away three of four chances after taking over.

Cody Porter got the nod for Calgary and stopped 18 of 19 attempts.

The Hitmen outshot the Raiders 30-19. Prince Albert went 0-for-3 on the power play, while Calgary was 1-for-2.

The Raiders see their record slip to 16-8-2-1 on the season, while the Hitmen boost theirs to 17-11-1-1.

The Raiders continue their Alberta road trip tomorrow night when they visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Puck drop is 8:00 PM CST. The team returns to the Art Hauser Centre on Saturday, December 12 when they host the Kamloops Blazers for Canadian Tire Teddy Bear Toss Night.
