London Knights News Release

London Knights General Manager Basil McRae announced today that the team has traded overage forward Josh Sterk to the Owen Sound Attack. In exchange, the Knights have acquired Owen Sound's conditional 15th round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.

Should Sterk report to main camp for the Owen Sound Attack, the 15th round pick becomes Owen Sound's 8th round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. If Sterk plays in one (1) OHL exhibition game, the 8th round pick moves to become Owen Sound's 3rd round pick in the 2019 OHL Priority Selection. If Sterk plays in one (1) OHL regular season game, not only will London receive Owen Sound's 3rd round pick in 2019, but London will also receive Mississauga's 2nd round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.

Sterk played 27 games with the Knights last season after joining the team at the trade deadline in the deal with Oshawa for defenseman Dakota Mermis. In 241 career OHL games, the 5'11" 180lbs forward has accumulated 144 points (53 goals, 91 assists).
