Attack Acquire Sterk from Knights

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce they have acquired overage forward Josh Sterk from the London Knights in exchange for a 15th Round Conditional Draft Pick, which could turn into a 2nd Round Draft Pick n 2017 and a 3rd Round Pick in 2019.

Sterk, a 20 year old from Georgetown split last season between the Oshawa Generals and London Knights, scoring 20 goals and adding 27 assists. In the previous full season with the Generals, the 5'11 centreman had 20 goals, while adding 34 assists.

"Our organization went into this off-season with an open overage spot and a need for some scoring help and we feel that we've addressed both of those immediate needs in one transaction.", stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. "We have every bit of confidence that Josh will come in and help our team moving forward and we're thrilled to have him as part of our organization."

Sterk and his Attack teammates will suit up for Training Camp beginning Wednesday, September 2nd at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre. Rookie Camp will take place Monday August 31st and Tuesday, September 1st.
