Knights Celebrate 15th Annual Teddy Bear Toss

The 15th Annual Sun Life Financial Teddy Bear Toss will take place Saturday, December 5th as the Ottawa 67's travel to London for a 7pm match up against the London Knights. All fans in attendance are encouraged to bring a brand new stuffed toy with them to the game and when the London Knights score their first goal, fans are encouraged to throw the stuffed toy onto the ice!

All teddy bears collected will be given directly to the local Salvation Army in an effort to help make a great holiday season for children in the community who would normally go without anything to open on Christmas morning. Last year, we watched as 9,077 stuffed animals rained down onto the ice at Budweiser Gardens as Christian Dvorak scored just eight minutes and fifteen seconds into the first period against the visiting North Bay Battalion. This year, we hope to collect even more!

Don't forget the doors open at 6pm for a 7pm puck drop against the Ottawa 67's. For those who cannot make the game we will be accepting donations at Budweiser Gardens' Jack Astor's Gate 4 off Dundas Street prior to the game.
