
Kings Officially Set Player Roster for 2012-13 NHL Season

Manchester Monarchs News Release
Center Anze Kopitar and defenseman Willie Mitchell both begin the 2012-13 season as Injured Non-Roster players. Additionally, defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk and right wing Tyler Toffoli have been assigned to Manchester.
The Kings will open the 48-game 2012-13 NHL season and raise their first Stanley Cup championship banner in franchise history tomorrow, Saturday, January 19 vs. the Chicago Blackhawks, with game-time set for a 3:00 p.m. EST start. Saturday's game will air nationally on NBC as the Kings raise their championship banner and players receive their rings at STAPLES Center as part of a special pregame ceremony.
The Monarchs will raise a banner to commemorate the Kings Stanley Cup Championship during their first ever Los Angeles Kings Night against the Providence Bruins at 7:00 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday, January 19.
