
Kinasewich Named to Western Conference All-Star Team

Kennewick, WA â The Tri-City Americans left wing Ryan Kinasewich today was named to Western Hockey League's first team Western Conference All-Star club.
The 20-year-old from St. Albert, Alberta closed out his final season in his five-season WHL career with 33 goals, 69 points in 55 games. Kinasewich missed 15 games late in the season due to a leg injury.
"We are all very happy for Ryan with his tremendous accomplishments both on and off the ice for our hockey club," said general manager Bob Tory. "It's been exciting to watch his development and we all are very proud of him."
The Americans open the WHL Playoffs presented by Oakridge Plumbing against Portland in the Rose Garden this Friday at 7:05 pm and Sunday at 5:05 pm. Airtime for the Farmers Insurance Warm Up Show is 6:45 Friday and 4:45 Sunday on News Talk 870 KFLD.
Games three and four of the series will be played in the Tri-Cities Coliseum Tuesday, March 23rd and Wednesday, March 24th at 7:05 pm. Playoff ticket package holders use ticket "A" Tuesday and "B" on Wednesday. Tuesday, the first 3,000 fans will receive Thunder Stix courtesy of U.S. Cellular. Fans are encouraged to make a donation to the Americans Players Continuing Education Fund.
