Tulsa Oilers News Release
TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers are pleased to announce the signing of forward Ki-Sung Kim.
Kim arrives in Tulsa after spending the last three seasons in the Asia League. In his first season with Anyang Halla in South Korea, Kim put up 21 goals and 18 assists and was named 2008-09 Rookie of the Year. A native of Seoul, the 5'10" 190 pound left wing helped Halla reach the playoffs for three consecutive seasons and attended the New York Islanders prospect camp in 2003.
"Ki-Sung brings a lot of skill and creativity to our hockey team," Ramsay said. "He has great vision on the ice, he's got a very accurate shot, and he knows how to get his teammates involved in the play. We're excited to see what he can do at the CHL level."
The Oilers play the Texas Brahmas at home on Saturday night at 7:35pm before making a trip to Texas for a 4pm game with the Brahmas on Sunday.
Tickets: Season tickets and single game tickets for the Oilers 20th season in the CHL are now on sale. More information is available by calling the Oilers office at (918) 632-PUCK (7825) or by visiting www.tulsaoilers.com.
