
Kendrick Completes Rehab Assignment, Returns to Angels

SALT LAKE CITY (May 30, 2008) - The Los Angeles Angels announced today that infielder Howie Kendrick has completed his major league injury rehab assignment with triple-A Salt Lake.
Kendrick, 24, was placed on the disabled list on April 14 with a strained left hamstring and returns to the Angels today after two rehab appearances with the Bees. He hit .200 with one RBI for Salt Lake.
In 10 games with the Angels this season, Kendrick hit .500 with five doubles, one triple, four RBI and two stolen bases. The Jacksonville, Fla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the 10th round of the 2002 draft.
