Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets 6-0 on Wednesday night in the Sandman Centre.
The Rockets started strong out-shooting Kamloops 15-6 in the opening frame but trailed 1-0.
Kamloops scored twice in the middle frame to take a 3-0 lead into the third period.
The Blazers would add three more in the third to top the Rockets 6-0.
Michael Herringer falls to 23-13-3-0 on the season.
The Rockets record drops to 30-20-4-0.
The Rockets will return to Prospera Place for the opener of a home-and-home with the Vancouver Giants on Friday night.
