With :47 seconds left in the first period, Reggie Newman (16) standing in front of Rockets starter Jari Kykkanen was able to redirect Jaren Brinson's drive from the point into the net.
The puck coming along the right side bounced off the boards behind the back of the Rockets net to Tanner Scott at the left side of the net who then pushed the puck out front to Newman (17) for his second goal of the game nine seconds into the second period.
The Rockets cut the Royals lead in half 3:21 into the third after Tij Iginla (37) ripped a one timer from the top of the right faceoff circle while on the power play. At 8:22 Rockets captain Gabriel Szturc (27) let a wrist shot fly from the slot that beat goaltender Braden Holt to tie the game. With a Royal in the box, they went to clear the zone where Caden Price stopped the puck at the left neutral zone faceoff dot, miss handling the puck, Cole Reschny (17) picked it up where he stick handled the puck through Price's skates while cutting around him to beat Kykkanen blocker side with 2:33 to go in regulation.

Kelowna will now return home for their Family Day Game on Monday, February 19 when the Tri-City Americans make their final visit of the season to Prospera Place.
