
KC And The Sunshine Band To Perform April 9

Milwaukee, WI-Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that national recording act KC and the Sunshine Band will perform in a post-game concert following the team's 7:00 pm game versus the Chicago Wolves on Friday, April 9. The concert is free to attend with a game ticket.
Since the group's formation in 1973, KC and the Sunshine Band has been a mainstay on the disco/funk scene, releasing 13 studio albums. Their unique sound has prompted audiences of all ages to get up and dance for over 35 years.
Their first album experienced good success, but it was their self-titled second album that catapulted the band to stardom with two number one singles, "Get Down Tonight" and "That's the Way (I Like It)." Overall, KC and the Sunshine Band have had five songs reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100; the other three being "I'm Your Boogie Man," "(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty," and "Please Don't Go."
"This party that we will have with KC and the Sunshine Band is really a giant 'Thank You' to all of our fans for their great support this season," said Greenberg.
Their hit songs have become a part of American pop culture, appearing in numerous commercials, video games, and movies. With nine Grammy nominations and three Grammy awards, KC and the Sunshine Band have receive critical acclaim to go along with all of their popular success.
On-ice passes for the KC and the Sunshine Band concert will go on sale at a later date. These passes allow fans special access to the ice where they can watch the concert from directly in front of the stage. The on-ice passes will be priced at $20 each and must be purchased in addition to a regular game ticket.
The performance by KC and the Sunshine Band will be the fourth and final show in the Admirals concert series this season.
