Houston Aeros Sign Goalie Adam Russo To PTO

HOUSTON - Houston Aeros General Manager Jim Mill today announced the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed goaltender Adam Russo to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Russo, 26 (4/12/83), is 18-11-3 with a 2.68 GAA and.909 Sv% in 36 games played this season with the Port Huron IceHawks of the International Hockey League (IHL). The 5-foot-9, 180-pound native of Montreal has spent the past six years playing overseas in both Italy and France before returning to North America where he played his junior hockey with Acadie-Bathhurst of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Russo will wear number 35 with Houston.
