KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (April 22, 2015)- Chris Curley crushed a 3-run homerun (3) into the West Virginia bullpen in the bottom of the third with the game tied 1-1, giving starter Jordan Guerrero all the runs he needed to earn his second win of the season in a 10-5 victory Wednesday morning at CMC-NorthEast Stadium in front of a season high 4,549 screaming fans.

Michael Suiter lead off the bottom of the third with infield single, followed by a Christian Stringer bunt single. Then, in a 1-1 count, Curly took Power starter Alex McRae deep to right, blowing the game wide open.

James Baldwin, the newest member of the team, got his first hit as an Intimidator in style, roping a line drive 2-run homerun (1) over the 400 feet sign in dead centerfield to extend the Intimidators lead to 7-1.

Kannapolis scored three runs in the third, sixth and eight innings on their way to matching their season high for runs scored with 10.

Intimidators starter Jordan Guerrero (2-0) turned in another quality start going 6.0 innings, allowing 2 runs (1 earned), on five hits, striking out four. The raining SAL pitcher of the week earned his second straight win.

Kannapolis shortstop Eddy Alvarez and West Virginia shortstop Cole Tucker each lead off the first inning with doubles, but it was Kannapolis who took advantage. Tucker was stranded at third, while Alvarez scored on a Christian Stringer RBI.

Curley, the DH ended his stellar day 2-4, with four RBI. Center fielder James Baldwin went 1-3, with a walk, run scored and a stolen base.
