Charleston RiverDogs News Release
CHARLESTON, SC - The Budweiser Clydesdales and Brewmaster Tour will pay a visit to this Budweiser Thirsty Thursday at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience fans won't want to miss.
Due to the Charleston RiverDogs game against the Savannah Sand Gnats being suspended in Savannah on Sunday, the two teams must complete that game before starting the regularly scheduled four-game series. As a result the start time has been moved from 7:05 p.m. to 6:05 p.m.
The Budweiser Clydesdales were scheduled to parade around the field prior to the regularly scheduled game at The Joe, but due to the time adjustment, they will be stationed outside of the Fishburne Street entrance of the ballpark from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Fans are encouraged to interact with and enjoy the impressive and world-renown Clydesdale horses during that time.
Due to the change in location, both Westbound lanes of Fishburne Street will be closed to automobile traffic from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The blockade will begin at the intersection of Horizon Street and Fishburne. Appropriate police supervision will be on hand to assist with re-routing traffic around the ballpark. Please see the map below and on the attached PDF for reference.
Tickets may be purchased at the Riley Park Box Office, (843) 577-DOGS (3647) or on-line at www.riverdogs.com.If fans cannot make it to the ballpark, they are encouraged to tune in to all the action this year both home and away on 1250 WTMA, the radio home for RiverDogs baseball.
