K-Wings Release Schaul

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce the organization has released goaltender Tom Schaul.

Schaul, who served as an emergency-back for three games for signing a contract last week, did not see any action in the K-Wings last stretch for five games in six nights.

Kalamazoo will begin a stretch of seven games in nine nights starting this Saturday, February 19th with a 7 p.m. encounter at the Huntington Center against the Toledo Walleye during the State Line Face-Off Series, Presented by AmeriGas, America's Propane Company. Two-Year Season-Ticket Holder Steven Grable will serve as radio color-commenter, as the team heads to the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio to battle the Walleye. Besides being color-commentator, Grable will travel on the team bus to the game and interview players during both of the Auto-Owners Insurance Intermission Reports. As part of their season ticket holder perks, Grable was one of four two-year season-ticket holders selected at random to experience a special fan experience.

The K-Wings will return home to Wings Stadium this Sunday, February 20th, with a 4 p.m. face-off during the State Line Face-Off Series, Presented by AmeriGas, America's Propane Company and a Family Hockey Day in the 'Zoo. The first 500 kids will receive a FREE, Super Hero T-Shirt courtesy of Charter Communications and there will be a $300 prize for the best superhero costume. Customary with all Sunday games at Wings Stadium, all kids (12 and under) eat FREE.

Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
