Miller Makes 4th Trip of Season to AHL Chicago

Forward Tim Miller has been called up to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

Miller makes his fourth trip to the AHL this season, all with the Wolves. He was re-assigned to Gwinnett from Chicago on February 12th and appeared in two games with the Gladiators and earned two points, all assists, for Gwinnett in a 6-2 win over South Carolina. He followed that up with a power play goal in the Gladiators 5-2 win over the Stingrays on February 13th.

The Davisburg, Michigan, native has earned five points (two goals, three assists) in nine AHL games this season with the Wolves. Miller has 20 goals in 46 games with the Gladiators this season, and ranks third on the team with 36 points.

Miller split time last season between Gwinnett and AHL Syracuse. He earned two points (one goal, one assist) in 21 games last year in the AHL. He tallied 35 points (15 goals, 20 assists) with the Gladiators in 44 games. After he completed his senior season at the University of Michigan, he had one goal in one game with Syracuse in the 2008-09 season.

In four years at the University of Michigan, Miller earned 77 points (25 goals, 52 assists) in 166 career collegiate games for the Wolverines.

The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth. ‚¬Â¨
