TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League are pleased to announce Justin Lund as the new General Manager of the Oilers Ice Center. Located at 64th and Mingo in South Tulsa, the Oilers Ice Center serves as a practice facility for the team and is also home to Tulsa youth hockey, adult hockey leagues, figure skating, and public skating events.

Lund will transition into his new role at the Oilers Ice Center after spending the last four years as the Oilers Vice President of ticket sales. An instrumental part of the Oilers successful transition into the BOK Center, Lund is looking forward to his new role which will keep him closely associated with the Oilers organization.

"I've really enjoyed my time overseeing ticket operations for the Oilers," said Lund. "I'm extremely excited to have this new opportunity because the Oilers Ice Center is undergoing a comprehensive renovation that will provide a much needed upgrade to the entire building."

Since August, Lund has been coordinating construction of the new rink at the Oilers Ice Center.

"This project means the Oilers Ice Center is here to stay," Lund said. "The future of the rink is very bright because this facility will allow us to bring in more competitions and more tournaments than ever before. It will be a great place for the Oilers to practice and it will provide so many opportunities for kids throughout the Tulsa community.

With Lund's departure to the Ice Center, Oilers front office staff members Tanya Koch and Brandi Neilson will take over ticket operations for the team.

"Justin has been an unbelievable part of our success over the last several years," said Oilers General Manager Taylor Hall. "With Justin at the helm of our ticket operations, we have been able to grow our fan base and make it easier than ever to bring more people to hockey games. Justin will be missed in our office, but I know he will be a valuable asset to the Oilers Ice Center and we look forward to working closely with him in the future."

Tickets: Season and individual game tickets for the Oilers 20th season in the CHL are now on sale. More information is available by calling the Oilers office at (918) 632-PUCK (7825) or by visiting www.tulsaoilers.com.
