Jeremy Gooding is coming off a tough luck loss to the Rockford Aviators on July 2. He went six and two thirds innings, allowing one run on five hits in a 1-0 loss for Florence. Gooding has dropped two straight starts but he's received a combined one run of support over the past two outings. Gooding has struck out 21 batters in 21.2 innings so far this season for Florence. The 24 year old went to school at Madonna University in Michigan. He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Fort Worth Cats of the United League.
