KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (June 25, 2012) - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, will light up the sky with our Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular following the game against the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Wednesday, July 4, at 7:05 p.m. at CMC- NorthEast Stadium. Gates open at 6 p.m. Reserved-level seats are available for only $8 and General Admission tickets are $6 when purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or by visiting the team's website at IntimidatorsBaseball.com.
The Intimidators are hosting our All-American Celebration on July 4. The United States of America turns 236 years old, and fans are encouraged to wear their red, white & blue to the game. There's no better way to celebrate Independence Day than by enjoying America's pastime, eating delicious hot dogs, listening to patriotic music, and watching breathtaking fireworks.
The Fourth of July post-game fireworks show is presented by the City of Kannapolis. Fans will see an amazing fireworks display following an Intimidators victory over the Northern Division 1st Half Champion and defending South Atlantic League Champion Greensboro Grasshoppers - we guarantee it! In fact, if the Intimidators don't defeat the Grasshoppers, who are 5-1 against Kannapolis this season, on July 4, all fans who attend the game can redeem their ticket stubs at the stadium box office for a reserved-level ticket for only $2 to the Intimidators game on Friday, July 6, at 7:05 p.m.
Last season, the Intimidators drew a capacity crowd of 5,432 fans to our Independence Weekend Fireworks Spectacular, and fans are advised to purchase tickets in advance.
The Intimidators are at home tonight facing the Hickory Crawdads the begin a four-game series, June 25 through 28. The team will return to CMC-NorthEast Stadium on Wednesday, July 4 to begin a five-game series against Greensboro.
