Sacramento River Cats News Release
WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - To accommodate pre- and post-game festivities and to help our fans and players beat the heat, first pitch for our Wednesday, July 3 game against the Tucson Padres at Raley Field has been moved back 30 minutes from 6:35 p.m. to 7:05 p.m.
As is tradition at Raley Field, several activities are scheduled to take place prior to Wednesday's game including full player lineups, and presentation of a large American flag on the field. A later first pitch time will also ensure that it is dark enough to hold our traditional fireworks extravaganza presented by Sutter Health immediately after the game.
Gates will still open at 5 p.m., and our All-American BBQ will be unaffected.
