Jonathan dos Santos and Rolf Feltscher Called up to National Teams for International Friendlies

LOS ANGELES (Friday, Aug. 31, 2018) - LA Galaxy midfielder Jonathan dos Santos and defender Rolf Feltscher have been named to the Mexican National Team and Venezuelan National Team, respectively, in advance of upcoming international friendlies.

Dos Santos will rejoin Mexico in El Tri's first post-World Cup contests. Mexico will face Uruguay on Friday, Sept. 7 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas (7 p.m. PT) followed by a fixture against the United States on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. (5:30 p.m. PT).

In his most recent national team selection, Dos Santos made his first career World Cup appearance in Mexico's 2-0 Round of 16 defeat to Brazil. Highlighted by his recent World Cup debut, Dos Santos has made 36 appearances all-time for Mexico since his first national team cap in 2009, including three assists.

Feltscher will join Venezuela for friendlies against Colombia on Friday, Sept. 7 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, followed by a match against Panama on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama (6 p.m. PT).

After making his debut in 2011, Feltscher has made 19 appearances internationally, including CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup Qualifying action, and Venezuela's 2016 Copa American Centenario campaign.
