
Earthquakes to Host Beer Fest at September 15 Match against Sporting Kansas City

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will host the second annual Beer Fest, presented by Lagunitas, featuring eight breweries, including six local to the South Bay, at Avaya Stadium on Sept. 15 as part of the game day activities for the match against Sporting Kansas City. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
The Beer Fest will start at 5:30 p.m. at a beer garden located in the 7UP Epicenter and will last until kickoff. The Quakes will take on Kansas City at 7:15 p.m. PT, broadcast live on NBC Sports California, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
Beers from the following breweries will be available for tasting in the beer garden: Camino Brewing Co., Faultline Brewing Company, Hapa's Brewing Company, Hermitage Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Santa Clara Valley Brewing, Strike Brewing Co. & Warehouse Taproom and Oakland United Beerworks.
Fans can purchase a ticket to the Beer Fest for $15 with this link. Beer Fest tickets come as an add on to tickets for the Quakes match bought on the primary market and include four 4oz beer tastings and a commemorative taster glass. Additional tastings will be sold on game day for $5.
