Matthew Meier registered two points to lead the Johnstown Tomahawks to a 5-1 victory over the Springfield Jr. Blues.

Johnstown put 30 shots on net during the contest, more than the 21.7 it averages per game. The Tomahawks' goal total was higher than their season average. Johnstown averages 2.6 goals per game.

Johnstown additionally got points from Omar Mullan, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Shane Bednard, who also grabbed two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Johnstown also got a goal from Brandon Reinholz as well. In addition, Johnstown received assists from Tommy Hall, Alex Jaeckle, and Trevor Recktenwald, who contributed one a piece and Mitch Hall and Josh Bowes, who each chipped in two.

The Tomahawks' Alex Okicki stopped 20 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Johnstown incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Stefanos Lekkas made 25 saves for Springfield on 30 shots. The Jr. Blues incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
