Kasimir Kaskisuo was superb between the pipes for the MN Wilderness Wilderness, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Aberdeen Wings.

MN Wilderness was paced by Lance Carney, who finished with one goal. Carney scored 1:44 into the second period to make the score 1-0 MN Wilderness.

The Wilderness stifled Aberdeen's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

MN Wilderness also got points from Dan Litchke, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Thomas Lindstrom, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, MN Wilderness received assists from Ivan Chukarov, who had one.

The Wings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow MN Wilderness to score on any of its three power plays. Aberdeen's offense operated below it season average. The Wings put an average of 2.9 pucks into the net per game. Aberdeen's offense was clicking better than usual and put 33 shots on goal during the game, better than the 26.1 shots per game it averages.

The Wings were led by TJ Roo, who took four shots.

Kasimir Kaskisuo made 33 saves for the Wilderness on 33 shots. MN Wilderness incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Henry Dill recorded 27 saves for Aberdeen. The Wings incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
