Tri-City ValleyCats News Release

TROY, NY - As the ValleyCats continue their hot streak on top of the New York-Penn League's Stedler Division, so does the summer heat. The ValleyCats will be well-prepared for the next few days, providing a 10 foot, cold-water mist tent on the first base side of the concourse. The Joe Bruno Stadium Cool Zone will act as a giant shower-like refresher for all fans. Also, every usher in the ballpark will be carrying ice-cold spray fans, cooling down the crowd throughout the night.

The ValleyCats are hosting the Aberdeen Ironbirds Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (August 1-3) all starting at 7:00pm. The ‘Cats took two of three games from the Ironbirds earlier this season at Ripken Stadium.

On deck for the promotional calendar is Motorcycle Night on Tuesday. Anyone who brings their bike to the game will get to show it off on the concourse and enjoy the game free of admission. Wednesday will be Italian Night at "The Joe" featuring Italian style food and entertainment, followed by the popular post-game fireworks show. Thursday is Hawaiian Night, encouraging all fans to wear Hawaiian clothes and enjoy the Rumbling Kings Hawaiian Surf Band at the ballpark.
