Heisel Nabs Shop-Vac Player of the Week
RHP Ian Heisel was named the Cutters Shop-Vac Player of the Week for the week ending July 23. Heisel was 1-0 in 4 inning of relief striking out 7 batters and not allowing a run. In over 14 innings of work he has yet to allow a run this season..
Shop-Vac, makers of the original wet-dry vac, present the Cutters player of the week award prior to a Cutters home game each week. At the end of the season the Shop-Vac MVP will be awarded to a Williamsport Crosscutters player as voted by his fellow teammates.
Gary Brown Bobblehead Moves To August 21
The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced that the Gary Brown Bobblehead Giveaway originally scheduled for Friday, July 28 has been rescheduled for Monday, August 21. The change in dates has been made to accommodate Brown's schedule.
In conjunction with the change in the Gary Brown Night, the Cutters have also announced that they are adding a fireworks show after the July 28 game and the Cutters Card Set Giveaway originally scheduled for August 21 will now take place August 29.
The team has also announced the addition of the World-Famous Rubber Boy to the promotional schedule. Rubber Boy will perform at Bowman Field on Friday, August 11 when the Cutters host the State College Spikes. Rubber Boy has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno along with numerous other TV shows. He was named by Ripley's Believe It or Not as "the most flexible man alive."

Cutters Kids Camp Returns
The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced the 2006 Crosscutters Kids Camp to be held on August 12th and 13th at Historic Bowman Field.
The camp is open to all children ages 8-15. Camp size is strictly limited and preregistration is required. The campers will receive baseball instruction from Cutters manager and 17-year major league vet Tom Prince along with selected Crosscutters players.
Camp instruction will run from 9am-noon each day. The cost is $65 per child. In addition to the camp instruction, all children will receive: a camp T-shirt, Cutters baseball cap, a ticket to the August 12th Crosscutters game, lunch with the players and coaches on August 13th and a certificate of participation autographed by all the instructors.
