Abbotsford Heat News Release

The Admirals avenged Sunday's loss to the Flames by securing a 4-0 win vs. Quad City on Tuesday. Hugh Jessiman recorded a hat trick in the win while Drew MacIntyre stopped 32 shots to record his third shutout of the year.

The Admirals took a 1-0 lead when they scored the only goal of the opening frame during a power play. Hugh Jessiman took a shot from high in the slot that snuck through traffic and into the Quad City net. The tally was Jessiman's seventh of the year and was assisted by Cody Franson and Cal O'Reilly.

After a scoreless middle frame, the Admirals recorded three goals in the third period to secure the win. Ryan Jones tipped home a centering feed from Patric Hornqvist to give the Admirals a two-goal cushion. Jones later assisted on Hugh Jessiman's second goal of the evening when he hit the Admirals forward on the goal-mouth. Jessiman swatted home the pass to give Milwaukee a three-goal edge. Jessiman capped his hat trick moments later when he scored into an empty net to set the final at 4-0.
