Jamieson Records Hat Trick as Silvertips Thrash Blazers 8-2

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Eric Jamieson recorded his first career WHL hat trick as the Everett Silvertips cruised to an 8-2 victory over the Kamloops Blazers at the Sandman Centre Friday night.

Dominik Rymon opened the scoring two minutes into play with his first of two on the contest. Additional goals by Carter Bear, Caden Brown (his first as a Silvertip), Eric Jamieson and a second by Rymon had the Silvertips up 5-1 at the end of the first period.

Jamieson tallied his second of the night at 9:03 in the second period as the Silvertips outshot Kamloops 16-3 in the period.

The hat trick was completed at 7:19 in the third period, as Jamieson tacked on his ninth goal of the season.

Ben Hemmerling's 17th of the season at 14:59 capped off the scoring in the 8-2 victory.

Tyler Palmer stopped 18 of 20 in the victory, his 16th of the campaign.
