The Show Goes On

Tonight's game between the Winterhawks and Thunderbirds will be played as scheduled at 6:00 P.M. at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. We will continue to monitor the weather situation and issue a further update if conditions worsen, but the game is planned to go ahead at this time.

Pride Night celebrations - including the postgame community skate - have been moved to Friday, Feb. 2, so everyone can have the opportunity to celebrate with the Winterhawks. All unused, paid tickets for tonight's game will be honored at the game on Friday, Feb. 2. Fans unable to come to tonight's game or the Feb. 2 game can email [email protected] or call 503-236-4295 for assistance.

Tonight's game will still be broadcast on Portland's CW as well as WHL Live on CHL TV.

Dual events are happening at the Rose Quarter tonight. We ask fans planning to come to the game to please plan to arrive early in order to park and enter the building. Please check local traffic and TriMet/MAX delays in the area prior to the game.

Due to winter weather conditions, the Pine & Fountain Court Entrance and Stairs will be CLOSED this weekend. The only entry to VMC will be through the main doors, and the only access point to those doors will be via the Rose Quarter Commons.

Bounce Back

The two teams faced off in Kent for the first time since Sept. 30 last night in a back-and-forth clash that required overtime. The T-Birds took the extra point with a quick strike in the bonus frame on Coster Dunn's second goal of the night, joining teammate Simon Lovsin and Portland's Josh Davies with two-tally efforts on Friday.

Now things shift south, where the Winterhawks have taken both contests against the T-Birds this season with a whopping 15 goals in that span. The Hawks will be keen to push back against their rivals after a frustrating end to last night's game. After Davies' double last night, who do you think is going to lead the way for Portland tonight?

TV Game

Can't make it due to the snow? No problem!

As mentioned above, unused paid tickets to tonight's game will be honored at the new Pride Night on Feb. 2. AND you can still catch tonight's game on Portland's CW! Click here for more info on this season's TV games and how to follow along!
