BOISE, IDAHO - The Bakersfield Jam (25-11) fell to the Idaho Stampede (6-29) 124-116 Saturday night at CenturyLink Arena.

Bakersfield finished the opening period with a 28-22 advantage, but struggled in the second quarter as they got outscored 30-22 and went into the half trailing 52-50. In the third, the Jam converted on four of their eight three-point attempts, helping them win the quarter 31-27.

With a 81-79 advantage after three quarters of play, the Jam struggled to hold on to the lead in the final frame as they got outscored 45-35 and trailed by as many as 13 points down the stretch. Bakersfield came within six points (120-114) late in the game, but were unable to overcome their deficit.

The Jam were led by Mac Koshwal (22 points) and Jerel McNeal (21 points). Jamil Wilson had a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Joe Jackson posted 16 points and seven assists. Alec Brown (13) and Xavier Munford (11) also scored in double-figures.

Jack Cooley had a game-high 23 points to go along with 15 rebounds for the Stampede. Nick Wiggins tallied 22 points and Jerrelle Benimon recorded a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds.

Bakersfield's next match is on Friday, February 27 against the Los Angeles D-Fenders. Tip-off is set at 7:00 p.m. PT from the Dignity Health Event Center.
