Sioux Falls, SD - Jared Cunningham's three-pointer with 3.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter forced overtime and stunned the 3,289 fans in attendance at the Sanford Pentagon. The Delaware 87ers would outscore the Sioux Falls Skyforce 6-to-2 in overtime en route to a 129-to-125 victory.

Like last night, the Skyforce (18-15) jumped out to an early lead by scoring the first seven points of the game. Sioux Falls led 16-to-12 with 5:53 remaining in the opening quarter. Delaware (15-19) would go on a 11-to-3 run over the next 2:30 to take a 23-21 lead. Sioux Falls responded with a 9-to-2 run and took a 30-to-25 lead into the second quarter. The Skyforce would lead by as much as eight points in the second quarter before Delaware went on 13-to-6 run to end the half as Sioux Falls would lead 56-to-55 at halftime. Scotty Hopson's 18 first half points led all scorers.

Both teams shot over 63% in the third quarter that saw the 87ers and Skyforce head into the final quarter tied at 93. Delaware started the fourth quarter on an 11-to-2 run as a Jamal Jones three-pointer with 9:56 remaining gave the 87ers a 104-to-95 lead. Sioux Falls would respond with an 11-to-2 run of their own and tie the game at 106 with 6:51 remaining. The score would remain close the rest of the way and an Andre Dawkins' free throw gave the Skyforce a 123-120 lead with 20.6 seconds remaining.

On the next possession Jared Cunningham would hit a three-pointer from the corner with 3.4 seconds left. The Skyforce were unable to get a shot off before the buzzer and Sioux Falls would see their first overtime action of the season. The Skyforce did not make a field goal in the three minute overtime period as the 87ers would pick up their fourth consecutive victory with a 129-125 win.

All five Delaware starters scored in double-figures led by Victor Rudd who compiled his first career triple-double (15 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists). Rudd's 17 rebounds are the most by a Sioux Falls opponent this season. D.J. Seeley would record 27 points and seven assists before fouling out late in the fourth quarter. Jared Cunningham also finished the night with 27 points.

In the loss, four Sioux Falls players would finish with double-doubles. Scotty Hopson's 34 points and 10 rebounds gave him his second double-double of the season. Shawn Jones (15 points, 10 rebounds) recorded his team high 12th double-double of the season. Larry Drew II (11 points, 13 assists) and Bubu Palo (17 points, 10 assists) also finished with double-doubles.

The Skyforce are back in action at the Sanford Pentagon this coming Tuesday, January 24, when they host the Reno Bighorns (14-18). The 87ers will also return to action next Tuesday when they host the Canton Charge (20-15).
