Jackson Returns from AHL Bridgeport

Defenseman Dallas Jackson has been assigned to the Gladiators from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Jackson appeared in three games with the Sound Tigers but did not register a point in his first career stint in the AHL. Jackson recorded a +2 plus/minus ranking while with Bridgeport.

Jackson has recorded 19 points (six goals, 13 assists) in 47 games this season with the Gladiators. His 19 points with Gwinnett currenlty ranks first among Gladiators defensemen in scoring this season.

The Edson, Alberta native skated in 39 ECHL games last season with Gwinnett and Reading. He earned nine points (two goals, seven assists) in 30 games with Reading but did not register a point in nine games with Gwinnett last year.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
