
Jacks Home Opener Spoiled by Bees, 2-1

(Odessa, TX) - Wylie Rodgers was the number one star the night with 53 saves as the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees beat the Jackalopes in their home opener at the Ector County Coliseum, 2-1.
Brian Bicek put the Bees ahead with his third goal of the season at 13:10 of the second period after Jacks' forward Brian Swiniarski tied it up at 1-1 just :33 into the second frame.
Nicolas Dumoulin scored the first goal of the game at 8:38 of the first period. The Jackalopes fall to 4-2-0 on the year, but stay in first place in the Southwest Division.
Bicek and Swiniarski were named the other two stars of the game as Rio Grande improved to 4-0-0 on the year. The Jacks will host the Arizona Sundogs on Saturday night at the JackShack at 7:05 PM.
